Bond4 Inc. ("Bond4NLP," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Bond4NLP platform at bond4nlp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our AI-powered communication training tools, voice practice features, coaching module, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by Stripe and we store your Stripe customer ID — we never store your credit card number directly.

Practice Session Data

We record and store the text content of your practice conversations (text and voice modes), session scores, NLP analysis results, and performance metrics. For voice sessions, speech is processed in real-time by your browser's Web Speech API — we do not record or store raw audio files. The text transcript of what you say is stored for scoring purposes.

AI Coaching Data

Conversations with the AI coaching module are stored to provide continuity across sessions. The coaching AI maintains a memory of key information you share (such as your role, goals, and communication preferences) to personalize your experience. You can view and delete this memory at any time in Settings.

Uploaded Documents

Documents you upload (pitch decks, PDFs, etc.) are processed to extract text content, which is stored in our database and used to provide context to the AI during practice sessions. The original files are not stored — only the extracted text.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the platform, including session counts, voice minutes used, feature usage, API call data, and general analytics via Vercel Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Bond4NLP platform and its features
  • To analyze your communication skills and generate NLP scores and feedback
  • To personalize your coaching experience through AI memory
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, billing, password reset)
  • To monitor platform usage and costs for operational purposes
  • To improve our AI models and platform features
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Bond4NLP:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — Powers our AI conversation engine and scoring. Your conversation text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
  • ElevenLabs — Provides text-to-speech for voice practice sessions. The AI's response text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate speech audio.
  • Stripe — Processes all payments and manages subscriptions. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe.
  • Neon — Hosts our PostgreSQL database where your account and session data is stored.
  • Vercel — Hosts the Bond4NLP application and provides analytics.
  • Resend — Sends transactional emails on our behalf.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes. Practice session data and coaching memories can be deleted at any time through the platform settings.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), secure JWT-based authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data through your account settings
  • Correct inaccurate data by updating your profile
  • Delete your coaching AI memory at any time
  • Clear your session history
  • Cancel your subscription at any time
  • Request complete account deletion by contacting us

8. Children's Privacy

Bond4NLP is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Bond4NLP after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
